Kah Chye Tan
Kah Chye is a Kashtec Board Director, and as one of the leading figures in global Trade Finance has been an invaluable contributor to chart the course for Kashtec’s transformation as a multi-client B2B e-marketplace technology company.
Kah Chye is also Chairman of Singapore-based company, CCRManager, a digital trading platform for secondary trade finance supported by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, where he serves as Chairman. He also serves as an independent board member and advisor for a select number of global organisations such as ICC Academy and financial institutions such as Markham Rae LLP.
Previously, Kah Chye was the Chairman of the ICC Banking Commission, the leading industry body for the establishment of Trade Finance standards and policies. He also served as Vice Chairman of Barclays Corporate Banking, and Global Head of Corporate Cash and Trade for Standard Chartered Bank.
As a Banking Technologist, Surindar brings 30+ years of experience at leading global banks and IT consulting firms to the Kashtec team. During his career, he has managed strategic change programmes, established business-aligned technology architecture and strategy, and designed end-to-end technology solutions to deliver customer-centric solutions.
He has broad international experience and leadership managing global IT teams at Standard Chartered Bank and Deutsche Bank AG with rich domain experience in Corporate and Institutional Banking, Consumer Banking and Data Management.
As an innovative thought leader, Surindar is constantly learning, and embracing new technology to drive business growth and product differentiation.
Juanita brings over 25 years of global experience in the financial services industry, working in both emerging and developed markets with a focus on Asia Pacific. Since 2007, the theme of her work with companies has been an aim to transform markets with digital financial services, and a focus on Financial Inclusion for individuals, migrant workers, and SMEs in emerging markets in Asia.
Juanita currently serves as an Investment Committee member of the UNCDF SHIFT (Shaping Inclusive Finance Transformations) Challenge Fund Facility, and is a Fintech Fellow at the Singapore University of Social Sciences.
While Executive Director, Asia Pacific for Eurogiro, she also served as a representative on the World Bank’s Public and Private sector advisory group on migrant worker remittances. Prior to Eurogiro, she held various regional and global roles at Citibank, ABN AMRO Bank and Standard Chartered Bank in Corporate Transaction Banking based in Singapore.
Kelvin has spent more than 18 years in the finance industry in various capacities at top tier global financial institutions. Most recently, he was an independent investment manager for high net worth families and the endowment fund of an international school in Singapore.
In his various capacities, he has experience in strategizing, planning and executing business initiatives that contributed directly to revenue. Many of the business initiatives require strong analytical skills and involve a keen understanding of target Asian markets and consumer behaviour.
Kelvin left the financial industry in February 2017 and now provides consultancy services on projects related to financial innovation in Singapore.
